Week 1: Listen Up

Posted on September 4, 2007. Filed under: College Football |

Well we finished the draft and got through week one. We are now looking towards a short week before teams kickoff again on Thursday night, therefore:

Submit Waiver claims to me by Noon Wednesday at: mwells7355@hotmail.com

-I will look them over tomorrow and send out an email to everyone letting you know who you got by 7 pm Wednesday.

-Please specify who you want and who you are dropping and rank your moves accordingly.

Waiver order is:

1. Murph (0-1, 161 points)

2. Cat (0-1, 198.02)

3. Dean (0-1, 214.03)

4. Jon (0-1, 226.62)

5. Yetti (1-0, 214. 25)

6. Danks (1-0, 260.93)

7. Haver (1-0, 268.42)

8. Wells (1-0, 280.22)

– Submit your rosters to Myself or Yetti by no later than 5pm Thursday.

– Also Waiver Claims do not snake! Therefore it goes 1-8, 1-8, 1-8 for as long as there are claims.

– You Only have 10 claims total for the Year, use them wisely.

 Scoring issues:

– First, fumbles/fumble recoveries will now be worth 1 pt each. Therefore if the team recovers it’s 2 points if not 1.

– Next IF your defense is playing against a team that scores a DEF/SPT TD that will not count against your final score.

WEEK 1 RESULTS:(please double check you matchup  stats when I send the attachment)

– Yetti over Cat: 214.25- 198.02

-Haver over Dean: 268.42-214.03

-Wells over Murph: 280.22- 161

Danks over Jon: 260.93-226.62

Please let me know if there are any problems, or you have any questions for this week. I will update anything accordingly.

Also, please send check for $25(I like that number better than 20 if nobody has a problem that’s a 200 pot) no later than October 1st to:

Matt Wells

661 Portland St

Baltimore, MD 21230

 Your Messiah,

 Wells

Seems like you’ve answered everything any of us could possibly wonder except one thing. There is a limit of 3 pickups per week, right?

Wells gets high score and then wants to bump up the entry fee. Coincidence?!? I think not!

MAXIMUM 3 PICKUPS A WEEK!!!!

I’m not sure if this is posted somewhere or not but I can’t find it……….do punt and kick return td’s count for your defense?

Defense Special Teams:
Safety: 2
Forced Fumble:1
Fumble Rec:1
INT: 2
Sack :1
DEF/ST TD: 6

Rules tab in the spreadsheet. They do.

Just realized you might have meant that they may have counted for the individual player (ex DWill, Desean). I believe only for the defense, per the post above from the rules provided by Wells.

Your original thought was correct. I meant defense. Basically wanted to know if Derrick Williams’s punt return for a TD counted for Penn State defense. Looks like it does.

hey wells, who won this week?

Check your email

Yo wells, you double check those at all? I was wondering how Danks had so many points. I’m gonna go out on a limb and say Albert Young did not have 48 receptions and if he did he got more than 1 yard from them.
